Paige is classically trained in ballet. She found her love of ballet at the age of eight and has since completed all ballet examinations to an Advanced Level. Significantly, at just 15 years of age, Paige began teaching under her own teacher, and subsequently gained her Associate Diploma in Arts, at 18. She went on to Major in Teaching and attained the requisite standards of A.R.A.D teaching. Read more

MISS PAIGE

MISS MADDIE
Miss Maddie joined the Paige Dunsdon Ballet and Jazz Studio in 1999 at the age of three years. After finishing high school, Miss Maddie completed a Diploma of Music Business and is currently studying a Bachelor of Creative Industries Majoring in Dance at QUT. Miss Maddie enjoys all styles of dance and has completed all CSTD Jazz and Tap exams. Maddie is a current student at the studio and has been teaching at the Paige Dunsdon Ballet and Jazz Studio for 3 years.

MISS ASHLEIGH
Miss Ashleigh is coming back on board to be our Hip Hop and Junior Contemporary teacher from Term 2. We welcome Miss Ash back to the team, as she started dancing with us at the age of 4. She continued dancing with us for a further 20 years. During this time, following Grade 12, she studied dance at QUT, gaining a Bachelor of Creative Industries majoring in Dance and Drama, and then a Graduate in Education in 2017. She joined our teaching staff, at around the same time, teaching our young jazz classes and our Junior and Senior Hip Hop classes. She then went on to teach dance in High Schools. We are thrilled to have her back in Term 2.

MISS EMMA
Emma’s passion for dance began at the age of 5 when she started ballet classes at our studio, where she continued to train for two decades. Emma has successfully completed exams for all RAD Ballet, CSTD Jazz and Ballet, and Jason Winter’s Contemporary syllabi. She began teaching at our studio in 2011 and earned her CSTD Jazz Teacher’s Certificate in 2016. From 2009 to 2011, Emma was a student at the Queensland Dance School of Excellence (QDSE). She graduated with a Diploma of Dance and received the Queensland Dance School of Excellence Award. Following QDSE, Emma auditioned and secured a spot at ED5International Sydney, but chose to focus on an academic path. In 2014, she graduated with a Bachelor of Health Sciences, and in 2018 graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with First Class Honours. For the past 6 years, Emma has worked as a physiotherapist and is now fulfilling her dream of working at the Queensland Children’s Hospital.
