I would like you welcome you all back to another year of dance at the Paige Dunsdon Dance Ballet and Jazz Studio.
Classes will begin on Monday January 30th, 2023.
My teachers this year, are myself, Miss Julianne, Miss Ashley, and Miss Maddie. Student teachers are Miss Mackenzie, Miss Sydney, and Miss Monique.
LATE PAYMENT FEE
There is a $20 per term late fee, for any fees paid later than 5 weeks into any term. All fees are due by the third week, and I will send reminders before the 5th week mark. Those of you who know me, know that all it takes, is to contact me. Unless I receive written or verbal reasoning for non-payment of fees on time, this late fee will be added.
HOLIDAYS
Classes are NOT held on Public Holidays.
Classes ARE held on the first Saturday of all school holiday weeks, excepting if the Easter holidays begin on a Friday, and on any pupil free days.
Parents are asked to please not watch their child’s classes. I understand that when I have 2 classes in the hall at the same time, it is tempting to observe closely. It is very distracting for both myself, my teachers and the students. I would appreciate it if you also consider the need for students to be paying attention to the teacher, and not to Mum or Dad outside the room.
APPOINTMENTS
As always, I am always happy to talk to parents about anything concerning your children or the school. However, at the beginning or end of their class is not the ideal time.
When you provide me with your email address, you may contact me this way with questions, however , as I endeavour to check them daily, sometimes I have teachers courses, which keeps me away from the office. For an urgent matter, please feel free to still call me, and I will then be able to discuss or phone you back a lot easier.
If you have any questions or queries, please don’t hesitate to call me on 3353 4949, as I cannot always talk to you at classes. You may now text me only, during afternoon teaching times, on 0407 674 464. Please be aware that I may not be able to answer if you call during classes.
Particularly with older students, I expect them to contact me if they cannot make their class on any day. They should all have this number and I consider it only courteous that they should let me know if they are not attending classes. Parents of younger students usually do it for them.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS
If your child has any medical conditions that I should be aware of, kindly let me know at the first class. If you are outside during all classes and it is something like asthma, that you are handling yourself, that is fine. If I need to know something for the time they are with me, please make me aware.
